Hi,
In outline view when the child items, having task property enabled, modifying the child status updates the parent task status properly. E.g. if a task has two child tasks and one task is 100% complete then the parent task status is set to 50% which is the correct behaviour. BUT in map view modifying child item task status doesnt update parent item task status.

Oh, you have catched a bug! Thank you very much.
To make it working, please enable the option "State Inheritance" in Tools / Options / Task.
The bug here is, that the outline view doesn't respect the setting in the options.
