    Resource-Centric Interface

    Hi,
Resource-centric interface is utilized in Visual-Paradigm UML tool. In the link below please browse to the heading Resource-Centric Interface. Read the text and also closely take a look at the diagram. In the pictures along with the handles for resizing an item there are small icons too (the heading "using the resouce centric interface" gives more description).
    http://www.visual-paradigm.com/edocs.jsp?url=content/product/vpuml/vpuml5UserGuide/html/VP-UMLUserGuide-DHTMLHelp-05-1.html&resourceType=document&resourceDetail=vpuml5UserGuide

If it is added to pocket mindmap then it can speed up entry of topics, sub-topics, floating topics, attaching voice/text note and assigning symbols.. Every item could have resource-centric symbols for "Insert Item...", "Insert Text Note...", "Attach Voice Note...", "Floating Topic attached to selected item". Now obviously these texts wont be displayed and only a symbol/icon for these options will be displayed and tapping it once would add the corresponding entry. So that can save lots of "tap & hold" steps.

Or even if these resource-centric symbols are not added to each item then still these options could be added to the toolbar. E.g. currently if an item is selected and the task icon on the toolbar is tapped then it converts the item into a task, this works wonderfully (also inserting text note, symbol and scribble is working well in toolbar). So similar icons could be added to the toolbar that would quickly insert a sub-topic, attach voice note, attach floating topic etc.

    Regards,

    Faheem
