Have you tried the online help? You can access it on your device via the Tools / Help menu of Pocket Mindmap or by selecting Help from the Start Menu when Pocket Mindmap is running in the foreground. The online help is also available online on our web site (http://www.pocketmindmap.com/indoor/OriginaleEN/Support/Online%20Help/).

Regarding the ripped-off topics: drag the (floating) topics on the former parent topic. While dragging over the topic you will notice, that depending on the stylus position the topic is partly inverted (black). The drop target (in this case the former parent) is divided in four parts: Upper Left, Lower Left, Upper Right and Lower Right. If you drop the floating topic on these parts it will be added as a sibling (left or inner part of the parent topic) or as a child (right or outer part of the parent topic).
I hope the description was understandable. It is easier to do than to describe. Just try it.
