What's new in Pocket Mindmap 1.3.4.42

XSLT Export and Import (Windows Mobile 5 or newer)

Using XSLT scripts you can extend the export and import functions of Pocket Mindmap by yourself. Some sample scripts will be installed with Pocket Mindmap like export and import of FreeMind files and some HTML export scripts.

Note: This is only available on devices with Windows Mobile 5 or newer.

Adjust Line Color on Map Level

Additionally to the background color now the color of the lines connecting the topics can also be adjusted. Also there is a new option to hide the lines from the root topic of the map to the first level topics.

Growth direction of Floating Topics

In the current version the growth direction of a Floating Topics’ children is independent from the position of the Floating Topic (right side or left side of the root topic). This behavior can now be changed to allow the children growing to the left side (or outwards) if the Floating Topic is on the left side of the root topic.

Support of the G-Sensor of the HTC Touch Diamond2

After the HTC Touch HD now also the HTC Touch Diamond2: Pocket Mindmap can change the display orientation using the G-Sensor.

Note: It may work on other devices as well, but it is only tested on the HTC Touch HD and on the HTC Touch Diamond2.

Bug fixes

· The topic text wasn’t saved when working in outline view

· When creating a new Mindmap the work time calendar wasn’t initialized.

· Some minor bug fixes and enhancements.

What’s new in Pocket Mindmap 1.3.3

Support of Mindjet MindManager® Pro 7

This version now also supports the file format of Mindjet MindManager® Pro 7.

Select Default File Format

You now can select the default file format which will be used for new mindmaps. Choose from the Pocket Mindmap (normal and compressed), the Mindjet MindManager®X5, Mindjet MindManager® 6 and the Mindjet MindManager® 7 file format.

Windows Mobile 5 Style Menus (Soft Buttons)

To enable the access of the menu via the Soft Buttons on your Pocket PC you can switch from the standard menu bar to the Windows Mobile 5 style soft buttons.

Export and Import of the Pocket Mindmap-Options

To make it easier to set the numerous options in Pocket Mindmap after a fresh installation or device change, you can now export these settings (which include, among others, Auto Symbols, Reference Types and Filter settings) to a file and import them to the new installation.

Fixed Bugs

There are some bugs fixed in this release:

- Mindjet MindManager® for Mac crashed while opening mindmaps created by Pocket Mindmap.

- Taskbar button "Quick Task" was disabled in Outline View.

- Deletion of submaps doesn’t work when in Outline Mode.

- Pocket Mindmap crashed under certain circumstances after entering the license key.

Tutorial for Pocket Mindmap 1.3.2. prerelease available

The English preview release of the Pocket Mindmap Tutorial is available now for download in the beta area. While not yet complete and still missing several screenshots, we are sure that many users may benefit from the information provided.

Today we have updated PMMPartner, Pocket Mindmaps Desktop Companion to support the new file formats including the compressed .pmapz format.
We also improved the XSLT Export capabilities, Folder registration, and fixed some bugs. We also ported it to the .NET Framework 2.0 Runtime.
PMMPartner provides direct support for exchanging maps with Mindjet Mindmanager 2002 (Business Edition or larger). For newer versions of Mindmanager (X5, 6), Pocket Mindmap supports the native file formats directly.
PMMPartner is a manager for your Pocket Mindmap files collection. It provides functionalty to organize the complete set of your Mindmap files. Searching and categorizing spanning all files is easy with PMMPartner, even if you do not use Mindmanager 2002.

All switches are ready: Version 1.3.2 is here! It took some time… but we think that it was worth the waiting. Here is a list of new features:

Mindjet® MindManager®
This version supports the file format of Mindjet® MindManager® directly. That means you can copy your MindManager® Mindmaps to your Pocket PC (or let ActiveSync do it) and edit them with Pocket Mindmap.

IncFinder
The IncFinder allows you to find Topics quickly also in large Mindmaps.

Compressed File Format
Optionally you can save your Pocket Mindmap files as compressed file.

XHTML Texts
The Topic text now supports XHTML.
Extended Editing of Topics in the Map View
Automatic word wrapping for Topics
When entering Topics the title will be wrapped after 200 pixel. Using the handles on the selection frame you can adjust the width of the Topic.

"RipOff" Topics
You can convert a Topic by "ripping off" from its parent to a Floating Topic which can positioned freely on the Mindmap.

Floating Topics
Floating Topics are extended in this version so that they now can have child Topics. Now they only differ from normal Topics in that they can freely positioned on the map.

Scribble
Improved Scribble editing:

·         Move selected strokes

·         Resizing of selected strokes

·         Export and import of strokes as shapes

·         Copy and paste of strokes

·         Export Scribble as bitmap (PNG, JPG, BMP) or vector graphic (SVG, EMF, VML)

The official release date is 1.8.2006 and from now on the price of the version 1.3.2 is 49,- Euros.
All owners of an older version of Pocket Mindmap will get the update for free.

There are some changes as you may see…

The new design of the webpages is perhaps the first you’ll see, then the new Logo (please take a look at the end of the message) and of course the forum itself was refurbished.
