Pocket Mindmap Forum

I am not able to save or export any maps I create in any MM or PMM file format.

PMM acts like it is saving but when I 'explore' and/or look in 'recent files' there is nothing there.

I can export to a text file.

All other functions I have tried seem to operate OK.

I have a Jornada 720 Running Pocket Mindmap V. 1.3.2.484

I have installed the xml upgrade as recommended named: msxmleng.cab

I have tried installing Pocket MM with both the .exe file and the .cab version for my system.

Any ideas?

is there a file named pmm_debug.txt in the root of your Handheld PC? If yes, can you please send it to support (at) pocketmindmap.com?

Thanks for the reply.

I sent the debug file to support as requested but never heard back. The demo version is showing me that this is awesome software. If I can only get this to work (save files) then I will buy it. With no reply from support I am thinking I am glad I tried the demo first.

sorry for the late reply.
Where did you get the msxmleng.cab from? The correct URL is ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/handheld_computers/software/msxmleng.cab.
Can you please check, if there is a file named msxml.dll in the windows directory?
If no, please reinstall the msxmleng.cab.

That worked!

I believe I installed the msxmleng.cab file properly but it loaded msxml.dll to a subfolder in the windows directory. Not sure why. After moving msxml.dll to the windows folder the software worked fine.

I purchased the software two days ago.
