HOWTO: Export tasks to Outlook (Version 1.2.x)

This is how the export of tasks works:

Create a topic and set the priority in the task properties to a value greater 0. You also can use the Quick Task button from the additional toolbar. If you want to export multiple tasks at once, you should open the task list from the Map menu and adjust the filter settings so that only the tasks to export are shown. Then choose “Export to Outlook” from the Tools menu. Otherwise you can export every single task from the task context menu of the map view, the outline view or the task list.

HOWTO: Export tasks to Outlook (Version 1.x)

This is how the export of tasks works:

Create a topic and set the priority in the task properties to a value greater 0. There also is a checkbox named "Exported". Make sure that this checkbox is cleared. Then switch to the task list (Map - Task List) and you'll see your task in the Pocket Mindmap task list.

If you choose "Export to Outlook" from the Tools menu, you'll get a dialog reporting the export results. If the export is successful (reporting "Task exported" in the result dialog) Pocket Mindmap sets the "Exported" property of the topic to make sure, that a task is only exported once. You can check this if you look at the topic properties.

If you want to export the task again because for example you've deleted the task in Pocket Outlook by accident, you can clear the checkbox "Exported" and initiate the export from the task list view in Pocket Mindmap again.

If the checkbox "Exported" in the task properties is set, you'll get the message "already exported". Note that only incomplete tasks will be exported.
